Hey all
Rather than just googling and scaring myself to death, I wondered if anyone here had real world advice on this.
I had a phone call from the GP to say this had been detected on a recent RCG, likely related alto hypertension (readings have been over 190/120 for over twelve months when not medicated, medication tends to keep it to about 150/110)
There is a family history of hearts disease (Dad) and I am early 40s. Otherwise fit and healthy but under immense stress for the last few years, especially the last 24
I am to call back in a week to discuss options. Is this normal practice or is it likely to be being delayed due to the current situation?
I have had sore chest and been breathless but had assumed it was a mild case of Covid tbh and just haven’t left the house for a couple of weeks.
