The embedded video shows the sad end to the car. No serious injuries , but madness to drive like this in Manhattan.

I have driven an ordinary (a strange description) CGT very quickly ( 285 km/h) and at more moderate speeds on twisty roads. It was a car well beyond my talent to drive to its limits and I felt that it was made for much better drivers that I was. It was not a forgiving car to drive and I thought I was only being the edge of its capabilities.
Not a casual drive. Of course there are really qualified people who can stretch it.I was not at that level of skill.

What a plonker, hope they go to town on him..that Gemballa stuff is tasteless turd anyhow, for driving like that he deserves a good punch in the face anyhow..The embedded video shows the sad end to the car. No serious injuries , but madness to drive like this in Manhattan.
In the video of the impact in to the white parked car number 1, Thankfully unoccupied, he loses the car going in a straight line doesn’t he? It’s not wet, would a bootfull of throttle do that on the white painted road markings? Can’t see much camber in the road, No traction control maybe?
More money than sense that’s for sure.

I think the road probably has quite a pronounced crown that you can't see in the pictures. If he gave it a boot full as well it would easily go sideways especially on the white paint. More money than sense that’s for sure.

If a Lincoln Towncar can barrel along at 60mph and feel safe, I'd image a CGT could hit some massive speeds in the early hours during lockdown.
Driver's still a t
t though. Throw the book at him.Road surface in Manhattan are so uneven the car could very easily go light. Spent a lot of time there over the years and only driven a car there once....that was enough! Despite the amount of money in the city very few people have sports cars because it’s just about the worst place you could drive one !
