Are there an specialists who could fit a decent sound system to my Tuscan without leaving big holes and a mess of cables? I'm not after a Max Power boot full, just something that sounds good to me and a passenger.

I know nothing about this subject so all advice is welcome

Luca,
I'm also interested in uprating my sound system .... again nothing too fancy. If you don't mind me asking, what sort of money did you have to spend??

I upgraded to a high power head unit (65 X 4) running two dome tweeters in the front and two 18cm in the rear + a 400 watt amp powering a rear centre mounted 8" JL sub. other than the sub and wiring it's all Alpine and sounds amazing.

I'm looking to add a CD changer and two front mid-range. Has anyone installed front speakers without altering the car? Is it possible?

That sounds like the kind of thing, but because I'm heavily into DIY (Don't Involve Yourself) I think I would need someone to do it for me, unless it was really simple. I think I would be out of my depth quite quickly

Mole Valley had it done for me as part of the purchase price. They sub-contracted the work out (came back with a nasty NASTY scratch on the boot-resprayed no probs=great), and they built a false panel on the parcel shelf to house the new speakers. I love it! But the lack of sound coming from the front is annoying.

I understand paul-wh has done his own speaker work, including front tweeters...so send him an email.

Anyway, looking forward to meeting you on Sunday,
Steve

Check out this months Fast Car (It's my colleagues!)

Has installed £12,000 worth of Audio and PS2! But just check out the rear shelf mod and front doors. They look real nice and are done by an audio place in Billerricy (sp?)
