First plane in days over our house (Trafford) heading west much lower than the usual stuff, looked suspiciuosly like a C17. This was just before 4pm. Was I right with the ID.

Just come over again, so I assume if its touch and go it's the same aircraft.

Hi,

I'm watching it from Northenden - definitely a C17.

It's looping so as to do both NE and SW approaches.

It's on about it's 8th approach now!

ADSB exchange tells me that it's (RAF) registration ZZ171

Just seen it from where I live in Winsford climbing out and heading South over Stoke-On-Trent. Will add that to the RAF Hercules, USAF Hercules and RAF Air Tanker I've seen today!

All these accounts of a C17 doings loops. Must have been an incredible sight.

I still can’t find any details on the net about what a Golbemaster is.

The Golbemaster is a type of plane operated by the RAF, like the Typohon jet fighter. HTH.
