Porsche is beautiful. Also, say what you like about Hammond but he's doing exactly what most of us would be if we had his success.

He's bought a decent sized (what looks like) ex-farm with loads of out-buildings and filled them with vehicles and projects he loves. Fair play to him.

I'd ditch the stripes off the classic Mustang tho.

Yep, I'm not his biggest fan, but I suspect it's all a persona for the telly. Clearly a proper petrolhead living the dream.

He's doing his best to seem much more loveable though its is hard work.
Meanwhile Jezza seems to do it effortlessly while still remaining deeply unpleasant.
There is the one laugh out loud moment though.
He's getting there.

People's personalities can change after they've suffered brain injuries.

I wouldn't mind if he did individual 5 to 10 minute pieces on the two motorcycles, the 911 and the MGB.

I watched some of the Slough built 2CV in Tasmania Hub Nut video lastnight too. Something along those lines on the vehicles shown may work.

Saw that last night, could have been nasty wink . My thoughts went immediately to what the righteous would say on the biking and Corona virus thread wink How dare Hammond be so selfish as to ride his motorcycle around his own farm yard riskIng injury there for putting pressure on the NHS had he broken his arm rolleyes
Loved the BMW motorcycle, loved the classic Porsche 911 to. smile

I had dealings with him ,albeit 20 years ago when he was the consummate professional,he
discussed the features of the car while having a coffee and taking notes ,adjourned to his Barchetta for another 10 minutes or so to compose /rehearse his lines , came out and did his piece to camera perfectly.
Very impressive ....he was obviously a real enthusiast and in those days was hoping to get into mainstream broadcasting, this was pre him joining TG but I can only say that I found him to be utterly charming on that occasion.
As mentioned above , people with severe head injuries can have total personality changes when recovered from the physical injuries.

There's always somebody who knows somebody who says <insert famous name> is a nasty piece of work/tight/arrogant/whatever. I pay them less heed than I do an article on page 17 of Hello.

That was very good, it was great to hear his chuckling at his mistakes. Bikes of that era are difficult to lay your hands on, and had a suicide gear lever.

Sticking it on YT was good as it brought for respite to the isolation to some people [if they watched it]. That was decent of him

Never ever meet your Hero's!
Or anyone off TV you quite like.
Exept Barry Sheene, who was a brilliant bloke to meet and be around.
If only for 10 minutes!
