Will Writing service

Wasn't sure whether to post this here or under S,P and L.
My partner and I are looking to have a will written. We've been in touch with a firm who whilst are not strictly solicitors, they are on the Solicitors Regulation Authority register and apparently a solicitor reviews the will before we sign it off.
Is this as good and protected as if we went to a Solicitor directly?

I believe Gary Glitter was on a register too.
Having a register of random unqualified people who write wills but aren't bound by any SRA rules is a new one on me.
Will writers who aren't qualified as solicitors can be members of the Institute of Professional Will Writers or the Society of Will Writers.
If they've got a qualified solicitor checking theirspelling drafting that can only be a good thing I would have thought.
