I am going to replace the Front discs and pads on my 2014 base Cayman and looking through some motor factors I am getting prices from £9.00 a disc up to £150 a disc, I know you get what you pay for, but the prices just seem to be a minefield for me, do you have any suggestions please

Euro car parts is a good place to start.
I got Brembo front discs and pads for my 987 for £160 ish recently.
Can't ask for more than that...

Brembo from Euros, if yours are cross drilled then some of the cheaper ones will probably be plain faced discs.

It's the brakes. On a Porsche.Don't skimp on poor quality parts! Brembo are a reasonable priced, and well respected manufacturer and for a direct OEM replacement then they would be a good bet - discs and pads. There are other upgrade options to search through that may be tempting whilst you're having to spend the money. (I just fitted some OEM spec Brembo discs/pads to my Civic Type R and have no complaints). Man-maths and some great story telling are there to be practised!

Also - if using EuroCarParts, take a look at their sister site of carparts4less. Same supplier, mail order only, often cheaper still than ECP.
