We're not on a flight path, large bulbous 4 engined jet. Matt mid grey fuselage, no markings that I could see.

Passed over the house, low, slow and remarkable quiet, 3 times but in different directions. Nearest airport 15 miles as the crow flies.

Where and when was this? An A400m was flying yesterday afternoon near Bournemouth airport.

Edited: just re read your post and you said jet. Not an a400m then.

It could have been. Nearest airport Birmingham, but Coventry close too.

Freight?

No. Regular touch & go practice at regional airports around the UK.

A400’s & Hercules have been doing the same for weeks. Getting their practice in whilst the airports are quiet.
