We're using Teams at work, but there's a zoom app within it if needed. Zoom isn't allowed with many of my clients due to security issues with the product.

Did you see Singapore have banned it now for their teachers as hackers were jumping into sessions and playing porn?

Cheers Dave,

I looked into downloading Zoom and you had to sell your Soul to use it.
The idea died immediately !

Can I simply search for Teams or is it a product built at your Site ??

Hi Paul,

Teams is the new Microsoft product for companies, replacing Skype for Business. wink But you can use "normal" Skype for such conferences - we used it this week for our monthly table of the Mini club. Was fun! biggrin

Cheers

Yup, Skype is still free,
https://www.skype.com/en/

as is Teams
https://products.office.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/...

Skype for business is part of Office 365 as is Teams. Teams is now being phased in as the replacement for Skype for business, thats will end next July.

I am notoriously crap at keeping patience with money-grabbing web providers

BUT

It appears that the free version of Teams is part of the Microsoft 365Education Pack and requires a School's Email Address.
I tried cheating but their filter stopped me banghead

Tried Skype but it appeared that I couldn't start a convo without someone to talk to. nono

Will try to find if there's summat on GNU.

Thanks for all your help thumbup
