HELP! Will 911 997 3.6 exhaust mufflers fit a 997 3.8 ???

HI all,

As per topic, will 2006 911 (997) 3.6 exhaust mufflers fit a 911 (997) 3.8 ???

My PSE rusted out. I fitted Fabseed bypasses and removed the mufflers altogether as a stop gap but looking for another OEM PSE to keep in the garage as spare.

Hi - I am fairly certain the 3.8 has larger diameter pipes. I remember hunting for exhaust tips for a 3.6 and they needed spacers fitting as the ones I found were the 3.8’s Porsche OEM tips - so no I don’t think the exhaust boxes are interchangeable. Cheers Rj5560
