Infiniti EX 37 opinions
Discussion
Trying to find an EX37 will be your biggest hurdle as they're very rare it's easier to find an FX with the 3.7 drivetrain spec wise the base EX's are well spec'd get a Premium or GT & they'll be fully loaded.
Reliability wise you'll have nothing to worry about the drivetrain is bulletproof as are the electrics.
These are diesels but it gives you an idea of spec:

I am in Switzerland and there are a few to be had! The car is for my wife, and besides the fact that there is no pano roof option it fits the bill perfectly. The interiors seem really nice (completly leather wrapped dash with minimal plastics), the petrol engine sounds extra smooth and as far as I know it has the underpinnings of the G 35/37 which were praised in the US at the time.
The available ones on offer seem to be lingering around for months, I guess the large engines are a detarrant. Price haggling opportunities are probably realistic.
@ZX10R NIN ...you seem to know these cars well. My wife will be doing very few miles with it, the question is mainly about high mileage models and the reliability.
The FX is also nice looking but unfortunately one number too large.

I always thought that those q70 saloons were great for the money. A local main dealer was selling them brand new for 20k roughly a year before Infiniti exited the market. Massive car with a nice interior and Mercedes engine. Image is pretty non existent outside of car geek circles but for some that’s a bonus.

I've sourced a quite a few Infiniti's for clients/friends & family so I have got to know the brand pretty well, it's a shame they pulled out when they did because the new QX50 would've got the brand on the map imo.The available ones on offer seem to be lingering around for months, I guess the large engines are a detarrant. They hang around because of the lack of badge recognition which means they tend to sell to those in the know, they're reliable & take high miles with ease also your local Nissan dealer will service it & offer warranties/service packs etc.
