Anybody had this optional extra and is it any good?
I know it's a bit pricy at £2000 but looks good.
BTW, I've seen the same system on the interweb thingy for £1100.

It is good, I have it! But I would buy it on the internet, and give it to them to fit in for you, it only cost me £155 to have it fitted

Groucho...if you go abroad lots make sure you get the updated version the Pioneer Avic X1R

We have it fitted in ours too and it's just excellent.
Our dealer arranged and fitted it after we took delivery and it was cheaper.........

One thing I would advise though is that you ensure all the correct and original instruction books are with the unit....cos it's pretty useless without them.....the unit does so much.

I've just had the x1r installed (in a T350) and it is very good. Cost me 1100 plus 170 for the fit.

I can reccomend the ipod kit for the X1 too.
Oh and an infrared nightvision rearview camera for those
dark places you have to back into every now and
then

I know what you mean about the instruction manual, I've had mine a year and I'm still finding new things it can do! its great! I have also drew a picture of the side profile of my car, and added text to it and uploaded into the system so it shows on the screen as background !
I LOVE the one touch 'return Home' feature, as I must be the worst navigator on the planet!!! ( I once bought a flat in Evesham, and it took me three parts of an hour to find it when coming home from my 20 min drive from work when I first moved in!!!!!)
