Hello all,
I've joined this website to see if I can get any help with tracking down a car that I used to own. After just over a year since selling, I miss my old van. I did a part ex so I'm not sure where or who it went to. I know it's a long shot but it's worth a try eh? The van in question is a 2011 Volkswagen Transporter on the plate DU61 OMZ. It is white, it has been lowered and is on aftermarket wheels (range rover replicas when I had it but that may have changed). It has one window on each side and rear windows. In the inside it has been converted to a day van with a white and grey interior in the back.

As I said before, I'm not expecting fantastic results but it's worth asking.
Thanks, R.

A white T5 lowered on RR reps - matches the description of every other T5 on the roads, why not just get another?

Apart from that fact that it doesn't match the description of every other T5. My van was custom and a lot of work went into it. That type of reply is exactly what I don't need. Thank you.

Who did you do the part ex with? Was it a dealer and if so where abouts in the country?

If a main dealer then it probably went to auction - let's work out which auction

If a smaller independent trader/business, do they sell their part ex's themselves? If this then it is more likely to be still very close to you

Hello, thankyou for your reply.
The dealer that I part exchanged with was Berkshire Specialist Cars in Farnborough (they moved to Hampshire). They are a small dealer so I don't think it would have gone to auction. I've looked at the history and have found out that the V5 was used just over a month later. I assume that they sell their part ex's because the van was for sale on an advert on their website.
Thanks, R.
