Paint for red calipers V8V

[JonnyCJ]

Does anyone know if touch up paint is available for red Brembo calipers for my 2009 V8V ?

Calipers are off pending new discs and pads and there’s a few areas on the calipers that could do with addressing, where people have been careless with spanner’s etc.

I did locate some on Ebay a whole back, I have not tried it though. The original finished is probably a heat resistant powder coat, so will be tough to get an exact surface match by hand, but it'll be better than a big chip.

I've also got a V8V with red calipers and have been looking into a touch up solution. Unfortunately Brembo dont do a touch up kit but it is possible to buy a enamel paint that matches the original closely.

From searching the net if found people have had success with 'Testors' enamel paint #1103 but can only seem to find it available in the US.

Cheers A.D - ordered a couple of 1/4oz bottles.

Cheap as chips until you add in postage, but cheaper than a calliper repaint.
