so - a supplier of ours who is well known here, and been around for 20 years went bust in Jan. Thats not so remarkable. We had a contract with them for 20,000 parts - 50% of which have been delivered to us and paid for.

The following day they were trading again with one extra word in their new ltd co name with niece and nephew as directors, instead of the old MD who is still driving the business.

They still have 3000 of our unique parts in stock which I would be happy to buy, as it delays me having to find another supplier - which I dont mind doing.

I don't trust them - how could I purchase the stock, without having to pay them before delivery, bearing in mind that they won't release the goods until they have my money???

Its about £1000 in value

Cash on collection or cash on delivery may be the answer.
