71 Land Rover safari chassis colour

Thought better ask on here rather than the LR forum.
Building a model of a 71 LR, instructions say silver, videos show black.
Anyone any definite chassis colour?
I'm guessing it would have had a coat of underseal but in 71 who knows. Suppose I could build it with a new galvanised chassis.

The factory finish was a satin black ( which soon turned to rust )
Under seal was an extra cost option.

The front bumper is originally galvanized, the rest of the chassis is black including the rear traverse.
