Covid19 ... which face masks?

In preparation for when lockdown ends I'm thinking which face masks to buy for myself and family. Any views?

The face mask stops YOU transmitting viruses. They have little use in preventing you getting a virus (you additionally need at least eye protection for that).

'Mask Trees'?

I am not sure if that's a barking idea or well intentioned Pollyannaism.

Make some masks. Get Covid-19 on the masks and then leave them on trees so people can take the masks, infect themselves with Covid-19 and help hasten Covid-19 herd immunity?

Largely pointless but if you really must have one then the throwaway disposable type are the ones you should get as putting one on as you leave your house wearing it wherever then taking it off and putting it back in your pocket is worse than anything else.

I've left a few N95 masks in just in case we get mandated to wear in the future. Not expecting that to happen but its happened elsewhere so better to have them than not.
