Oris strap from jura watches
Discussion
Hi All,
This morning the 15 year old rubber strap on my Oris Williams F1 finally broke.
I have sourced a replacement from Jura Watches but I note it is a 6 week lead time and a special order item so no returns. Has anyone had any experience buying spare parts from Jura watches and would you recommend them?

Thought I would follow this up:
After sending a strapfinder enquiry in April I finally had a quote in September (Due to Covid shutdowns) of £195 inc tax. The order was placed on the 25th of September and I received the strap early in November. The clasp was the wrong colour but that wasn't an issue as I just moved the clasp from my old strap.
By the time I got around to fitting it my watch spent a year being unable to be worn and had to be manually wound. The manual winding really seems to have taken its toll though as the winder is now rough and occasionally skips a tooth. The inside of the watch now has a fine gold coloured dust on the glass
It is still in perfect working order but I now shake the watch in my hand to wind it if I haven't worn it.

If you are asking whether they are legitimate/genuine/honest, then the answer is yes.
The company is actually J.Sellars who are a jewellers based in Ashbourne. From memory, the original Jura collapsed in the big recession and Sellars bought them lock, stock and barrel, taking over their concessions and moving everything to West Derbyshire.
