I just got this (cheap Chinese tat) colour changing keyboard and there are no instructions with it.

Through a little trial and error i have figured out the command to turn the illumination on and off is the SCR LK on its own, but it is supposed to be able to scroll through a few different colours and i want Blue!

Any idea's?

OK, it's a bluetooth keypad for a tablet, so totally different to yours but worth a shot as the colours are the same. .

You press the FN and then V, B or N for the left, middle & right lit up sections of the keyboard. Cycle through presses for different colours.

Thanks, but no , that isnt it frown

I am pretty sure I have now ruled out the FN key as i have pressed it in conjunction with every other key and the lights are not affected.

Scroll Lock appears to have something else marked on the key which could be one you press with another. Have you FN + SCRL LK that? Or is that the on/off?

Keyboard looks very similar to this one (maybe a cheaper rip off), but might work the same (sorry it's FN key based again).

I think that is the 'brightness' symbol.

Pressing scroll lock on its own turns the lights on and off as does pressing FN and scroll lock at the same time. In other words, FN seems to play no part in it.

Using the FN button in conjunction with any of those keys does nothing , maybe the FN button is faulty!

Right, found a cheap st $16 version, which looks like it has the same lights you have, but no mention of an option to change colours.

It uses the scroll lock button to turn them on & off, so maybe you are stuck with what you got.

You might be right, but the advert for mine sates 7 colours..I only see three but i suppose there is a little variation where some are not as bright as others..does that constitute more colours? hehe

Now that i look at the advert again, there isnt a picture of the keyboard all lit up in one colour..silly me!
