Worst first date

Well I was typing something boring about TVR jelly sea but this just cropped up...
Just winding a mate in the office up - He's invited an old platonic friend down from Scotland, to visit and he meekly asked 'would taking her to the Roman Baths in Bath be a nice day out or a bit anoraky'. I half heard him, elevated Platonic friend to first date and dug in.
Naff first date venues that gaurantee last date suggestions then...
Swimmimg.
Paintballing.
Buddist meeting.
I've got some crackers but I'll wait for yours first...

Amusing story about a first date I had.
Driving the kitcar at the time, drove to the date noticed my temp guage creaping up, thought thats odd. Pick up date get 200yards down the road car packs in (sounds awful). I pop bonnet to find low water (very odd). So first part of the date had her fetching/holding water whilst I filled it up and checked level. etc. Car fired up okay and off we went to pub for our date (orange for me). Dropped her off, started the run back car seemed fine get round corner BANG seized engine, the reason the car was running hot was the oil pump was failing and the sender unit broke at same time, so no warning just bang. I then had to walk back to her house and call the AA, extended date of me sitting at her table misserable as sin 'cos I just "lost my baby", and her trying to consoul me!
Strangly enough she never called me again.
