1984 British Motor Show at the NEC

Hi all,

Does anyone have any pics, clips or info from the 1984 British Motor Show at the NEC in Birmingham?

I've just been talking to the first owner of my (36 year-old) silver Ferrari Mondial QV who tells me it was on the Ferrari stand at that show.

Would love to see a pic of that stand but can't find anything on the web. 1980, yes - but nothing from 1984...

Can anyone help?

Ah, turns out it was the 1983 London Motor Fair.

Oh, I didn't go to that one. I did spend weeks* digging out and scanning these photos from what might be the 1984 Motor Show at the NEC, where there are some silver Ferraris. It was the year that Lotus showed the Etna, if that helps narrow things down.

I have no problem with that. The scans are terrible - I must try to figure out why that is. Somewhere I have prints of these, and they are in much better focus.
