Im at home so not with the car yet, quick question, how many batteries will an E220 (2010) have, does it have a 'consumables ' battery and a main battery, I believe the E350 has this.

I believe you will have a second battery behind trim on the passenger side.

ive just put my reg in on euroCP and it comes up with a smaller 2nd battery so I think you are right. If i do need a battery, ECP are quoting £360 - £440. Any place that sells them at a cheaper price.

I paid a fair bit for a battery as the car places quite a high electrical load on the poor thing.

My Indy did some things with STAR to tell the ECU it had new cells, no idea what it achieved.

The internet suggests there’s a number of things you’d need to do to recalibrate bits if all power is lost when you disconnect. Your mileage may vary.

He started it in 10 seconds! Gave the area where the key goes whack and car started. Said the esl has probably gone. All working ok, 1 issue though now is the seat belt on drivers side is fully recoiled and wont come out. Its a Presafe system which electrically pulls the belt in when you drive. Any ideas how to reset this system or to get the belt out and back to normal?
