Good evening all,

Recently bought A 2016 Mazda 3 . It’s has nav and a Bose system. However, for some reason everything works , but no sounds come through the speakers.

Has anyone any ideas. I’ve pulled the stereo out to look Behind it and there is connector into which a plug would fit but no plug. However, I have tried searching on line and cannot seem to find and pictures of a similar stereo with all the wires in to compare if one is supposed to be there.

Any help or guidance appreciated.

Thanks

I've had that problem for a while, albeit the electrics on my 1995 Peugeot 405 are very different.

I've tried different 'known good' stereos with similar results and my next 'port of call' is to add an Earth from the body of the Stereo to an earthing point on the car.

I've not actually done it yet as I've been dealing with much more serious mechanical issues, but I think that my 'Odds' of this measure being successful are pretty good.

Maybe it'll work for you.

Is there a wire? Bluetooth speakers seem unlikely.

just a revisit to this, coz I found the problem on mine, it turned that the rear of one of the Speakers was hard against the inside of the Door and the connection was shorting to the bodywork. Re-did the connectors in a tidier way and applied some Insulation Tape and its been fine since; might be your problem too

...so my previous post about the Radio Earth was 'close'
