French scamera info

Just noticed today that if you enter your route details into the journey planner on http://www.michelin.fr (yes, it's en francais!) then any static cameras are shown as separate points of interest on your route!
I don't suppose those static cameras are of so much interest as I understand points / fines can't be applied internationally / at a later date. However, there is some interesting information by departement on http://www.radars-auto.com/cartes_radars.php and an FAQ entry (here: http://www.radars-auto.com/faq-avertisseurs-detecteurs-radar.php#c1) that suggests radar detectors are illegal but GPS databases / routeplanners are not.
