Hi all
I have a current HGV licence and have driven on and off for a number of years.
I was up to date with all the necessary CPC training.
Just about a year ago we sold everything and bought a pub (Yes i Know!!)
Well we are in lock-down and listening to the government it seems that we will probably be one of the last establishments allowed to open.
My CPC training ran out last September.
My question is will i need to do 35 hours training or will i be ok with 8 hours for the year??
i have seen i can do some of the modules on line.
If we are going to be in lock-down for a while i may see if i can do some driving for a few months,

You will need to 35 hours training to get a new card valid for 5 years. The idea then is to do 7 hours/1 day a year to keep topped up.

Online courses are currently as low as £40 a day so now is the time to do it

Have they not relaxed the cpc during this crisis along with extended drivers hours to get ‘retired’ drivers back out were needed?
