I'm finding that one of the joys of working from home is just chucking up play-lists on YouTube and seeing what's on there or reading a review of a group and being able to try them out.

Are there any bands/singers out there you've discovered 'thanks' to this current crisis?

For me I read a review of a Scandi band but then stumbled across and band called H.E.A.T. some sort of bd lovechild of the 80's mixed with 70's hard-rock (certainly caught elements of Purple for instance). Loving it, nicely retro sound.

What have you all found?

The Shins

Gengahr

Style Council

Sorry about that last one. Big Paul Weller fan but had never heard Style Council until I did a lockdown CD order to try out on my new (old) player.

I've rediscovered Stiff Little Fingers - liked the little I heard back in the day, really liked the stuff I've heard thanks to YouTube.

Also I missed out on Manowar back in the day - turns out they're not at all bad. This led on to me finding U.D.O., Bonfire, Rudi Axel Pell and st-tons more 'power-metal' - loving it

Yes, that is a highlight of my lockdown listening playlist - along with "Love Salad" by Four Tet.
