Constant external squeak

Hello.
I have a slightly tatty Alfa 156 that has been perfectly serviceable in the 8 or so months I have had it - though it may struggle to get through its next MOT ...
It has developed a fairly constant quiet external squeak in the last few days when driving. I know that it is very difficult to diagnose a noise across the internet, but any idea what that suggests? I can't see anything obvious rubbing on tyres - seized caliper? I did feel the calipers after a (gentle) drive today but no one was obviously hotter than the others.
