That was great. Thought I did well many years ago when I landed a Piper 180 at Southampton, cleared customs and went on to Guernsey and then the same on return but an approach and landing at SFO would be something else!!

Because he could, and would probably never get the opportunity again. I remember an iconic image of hot air ballon crossing Heathrow during the ash cloud shenanigans, when else would you get the chance?
