Another what Coffee machine thread

We have an el cheapo Coffee Maker bought from Argos a few years back for £50 https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8477958

It's done us proud but we're looking to upgrade to something a little less messy, less faffy and generally better. I've gone around in circles looking at various threads, websites etc and am getting nowhere!

In a nutshell we:
Want something not messy - bean to cup looks like the ticket
Want something that'll make a full coffee not just espresso
Want something that'll do two (strong-ish) cups at a time
Drink white coffee, so some of the fancy milk things look interesting but not essential

Lastly we don't want to spend a huge amount, under £300 would be good but I'm pretty used to budget creep!

Within your budget I would concentrate on the coffee aspect and leave the milk frother out. The milk attachments are always the weak point on machines unless you double your budget. We have a expensive all signing all dancing machine, but after the first week haven’t bothered using the milk functions - simply heat up some milk in the microwave... cleaning etc is just too much of a faff.
