991.1 GT3 available for £70,000?
Discussion
Hi folks,
I understand 991.1 GT3 are now available for around £86,000 retail.
I'd be interested to hear thoughts on whether the above (RHD, FSH, <40,000 miles, non story, mint UK car) are likely to be available for around £70,000 within the next 12 months.
That equates to a drop of around 20%.
Many thanks

Depends largely on the spec.
An early 63 plate 991.1 GT3 with relatively high 40k miles non OPC history dodgy spec and colour with a multitude of owners could well be mid to late £70ks.
Broadly you get what you pay for.
In the real world the car you described above is already a 70k something car! An early 63 plate 991.1 GT3 with relatively high 40k miles non OPC history dodgy spec and colour with a multitude of owners could well be mid to late £70ks.

Or is it just another SOR car returned to its owner and then marked as sold to make them look like they are selling cars! Safer having in the owners garage than some independents at the moment.
These games happen all the time.
No one in the right mind would buy that car when you look at the asking prices of others.
Similar car over 12% cheaper and thats before you push for a discount, there not selling vat 88k no reason for them to magically sell for 100k.
You have been around long enough to know the games certain independents play!

Not when the cheapest car for sale today is £84k and the car above that has over 50k miles on it.Gt4rs I am with you on this one it's already a £70k car. Some have a vested interest in talking prices up! I posted up a nice low owner / miles car a couple of weeks back for £90k and that's where they are at now ,post cv19 a good spec. low miles .1gt3 will be £80-85k IMO.Just because a car is priced at X doesn't mean it sold for X also as you say cars are being withdrawn for sale by their owners and it looks good for a garage to post as sold !

If you think that GT3 sold for £100k you’re wildly naiveIf it did sell, to suggest it was in the £70ks would clearly be ridiculously niave.
Especially as we've already had one poster confirming the cars are currently £90k and even the OP says £86k.

Agree. For a comfort spec such as the white one referred to.
The £90k car I referred to was not a comfort spec. but a CSDon't think the op was saying they are £70k cars only the real dogs in 12 months time, personally I think they are still c£90k cars for a good one and only falling to an average of £80-85k post cv19

You cancelled a GT4 new car order when you found they don’t fetch overs any more.
What do you actually drive atm ?
