That's £2k+ as an insurance repair based on appearances.

Certainly fixable. If it goes through as an insurance job it'll be a replacement rear quarter I suspect.

It'll be possible to affect some kind of repair on the panel but it'll be double skinned there so the proper job is to replace the panel.

I would suspect a write off, as the wheel maybe also damaged ? Also by the time you factor in hire cars etc and it being at least 11 years old , its a lot of work labourwise to get done.

I'm fairly sure there is little or no access behind that panel meaning it will have to be pulled.....and not with a suction cup off ebay lol

You do it from outside with those tack on keys and a pull bar.

There's a few methods, there's various tools out there but suffice to say it's a job for a skilled operator.
The days off pushing dents out from the rear are long gone generally, with the way cars are designed these days

I can imagine.

I hate bodywork. Takes lots of skill and patience (I can't plaster either smile ) and always been in awe on how you can make something look good. My dad can do a reasonable job, I just want to rush it.
