I almost never prefer modified cars but do think this Zagato CGT looks better than the original. Seems that they didn’t make any mechanical changes (as not needed). I expect it wasn’t a cheap conversion and probably makes it worth less than a standard car.

I suspect if he ever sells it, it’ll be a lot more than a standard car. It shows up a couple of times in a video of the Peter Auto legends tour (or similar name)
I quite like the way it looks

Edit: turns out this guy went to Zagato to have a second one built. So not the original one. Around 9:30 some shots of the car and the owner talking about it

There are better pics on this thread....https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=23&t=1255808&i=0

Looks like a Cayman 'Long Tail' to me. wink Stifling that V10 with a roof?! Seems like a bad idea to me.

Lovely pic in its preferred habitat!

Comparing it with the Gemballa is a bit unfair (also considering what their owners seem to get up to based on that NYC video that recently made the rounds...). At least the Zagato will still drive exactly the same (I assume anyway) and imo looks quite good actually / subtle changes only
I’d be quite happy with either one if I could afford it

I saw the silver car last year , in Brescia ,Italy , at the start of the Mille Miglia ,as there was a Zagato section

added onto the event for their anniversary.

I posted a pic of it in Supercar spotted not even realising it was a GTZ , that TBH I hadn't even heard of until then.

The changes were too subtle for me to notice them in passing.

It didn't occur to me that it was there as part of the Zagato thing ,I was a little......confused
