Anybody have a clue what I need to do to take my drivetrain warning light off. It comes on whilst I’m driving. It come up more frequently in comfort mode that’s why I switch it into sport and it come up not as much. Help

What sort of car do you have, what does the light look like (shape, icon, etc.), and is it amber or red?

With a few more details, the collective wisdom of PH might be able to offer some assistance.

It’s a bmw 1 series 116d and it’s amber light saying drivetrain contact bmw. But I know if it’s simple enough I could do it myself.

If you're able, consider getting your self one of those OBD II diagnostic things that plugs into your car's computer and tells you what's wrong with it. If you get a wireless one, link it with your phone, download a free app and the app will tell you in plain English what the issue is.

I bought one after my engine warning light came on on a trip to the continent (before lockdown obviously). Turned out to be a mass air flow sensor, one of the simplest things to change on a Focus!

Put a scanner on it and then the car will tell you what's wrong.
