Hi is there any sort of remote management software i can put on my sons iphone.

Im having issues when he is over at my ex wife's house in that she is constantly going in and changing the password to the phone and conveniently disabling the phone as she then "forgets" the password and the phone locks out after 10 attempts.

Is there an MDM solution that can prevent her or anyone from making such changes by limiting access to certain features?

Its my only way of contacting / messaging him when he's there visiting and unfortunately my ex wife will never answer her phone so that i can at least speak to him.

Thanks

No need for any MDM. Apple has this baked in.
Go to settings / Screen Time / Content & Privacy Restrictions. Scroll down and turn off Passcode Changes and Account Changes.
Set a Screen time password known only to you and only you can change the main passcode or account passwords.

Jobs a good un.

Bingo.

OP similar situation to my missus and her kid, she mentioned getting him a dumb phone (I agreed) for when hes at his dads, mentioned it to the dad and no way at all, "he can use my phone to call you" problem is he never does.

Hope you get it sorted.

Thanks. I've applied the settings required along with a seperate screen time password.

I've also added him to my ICloud family sharing as well.

As it turns out my son turned on the password protection himself with his own password. To stop his mum changing his phone settings. She's then managed to lock the phone herself when attempting to make changes.

So I've made a few changes in the settings to hopefully stop the phone locking out.

Many Thanks
