Lockdown birthday present

Any really clever ideas, elderly parent, 79 Dad in lockdown and probably stuck at home for several months.
Used to really be into woodworking but bit too much for him now. Plus he's got a full workshop anyway.
Loves treasure hunting but obv. a bit difficult at the moment.
Really need something to keep him busy and safe (right now he is laying a new patio despite my protests!)

TY all, good ideas. I was thinking about something modelling related but then remembers hes got a half finished radio control plane in the loft from 1972!! Maybe something smaller like the boat would actually be a good idea.
Mixing garden with food like a pizza oven could be good as he has started to get more into food and cooking. Maybe thats something I should encourage.. I am chef after all!
He lives in the Med. half the year so minimal garden maintenance could be good, already has lots of lemon, fig, olive trees etc but a garden ornament might work.
Keep them coming... oh, he also sea swims and had just ordered a new dry suit for under water treasure hunting.

I just gave a relative a gift membership for the RHS. £65 for the year.
They get the membership pack through the post but can activate the membership at any time so they can wait till they are able to enjoy the benefits (hopefully) in a couple of months time, or can activate immediately and get the monthly magazine, access to online advice and virtual events such as this year's virtual Chelsea Flower Show.
Also you're giving support to an organisation they appreciate at a time when it's very much needed.
