VW T5 creaky steering.

I have a 2011 VW T5.1 recently a creaking noise has suddenly started coming from the steering column when manoeuvring. I tried the cheap fix of spraying some WD40 in where I could access it but it hasn’t helped. Anyone had similar issues?

Yes lots, mine doesn't have it but after reading the first few replies the fix is to replace the column
