Seeing that brings a couple of questions to mind..A: Is their shop in Winchester open at present?
B: If so would travelling a mere six or seven miles to get there be classed as essential travel?
For those within reasonable distance.

This chap turns out the best chocolate I have ever had, by a country mile! For those who view Hotel Chocoalate as a go too, will never view HC the same again after trying Jan's offerings.

You can’t really compare small batch chocolate making like that with any kind of factory produced chocolate though. http://www.mrchocolate.co.uk/

Montezuma and hotel chocolat are my favourites these days.
Montezuma is lovely but I've always felt that Hotel Chocolat is really over-priced for what seems, to me, to just be only marginally nicer than your standard Cadbury/Nestle/Mars stuff. My default choice is anything seashell-shaped and praline. The Guylain stuff is great but Aldi/Lidl (can never remember which is which) do their own version which is half the price of Guylain and 95% as nice. Has to be an occasional treat though as I can nail a whole box in about 20 minutes.

Hotel Chocolat is more polished in their packaging and presentation, but Montezuma is too generic to compare to the nearest indie chocolatier shop.
