Who do you guys reckon is best for insuring a first time owner? Classicline offered me a quote of around £3000. The best I've found so far is £820 garaged, 2nd car, 5000 miles, low risk area, clean licence. I'm 23 BTW

Try a mate of mine at Unicover Insurance Services 01903 877177 ask for Richard and tell him I (Mike Smith) gave you his number, if he cant help you he will know who can?

You could try Carole Nash on 0800 298 5500.. i used to use them for my MGB.. They were not quite as cheap as Classicline for the Tiv but if ya struggling maybe worth giving them a try.

its a real pain trying to find an insurer who will allow a 21 year old. If anyone knows of a cheap insurer? got to renew in about 4 months Im with admiral at the moment. Had to phone around 30 different insurers only 2 would insure me. Been worth the effort though

I'm 23 and Tesco were the cheapest for me by far. Just over £800 with 5 years NCB (protected) and 8k miles/year.

It's refreshing to see that there are some advantages in being an old git! Don't remember having that sort of money to spend on car insuarnce at your age. The youth of today, don't know your born..........!
