I'll go for:-

Fighter:- Either North American P51D Mustang or Spitfire Mk 1X

Bomber:- USAF B29 Superfortress.

I am going for well proportioned, streamlined, flowing and graceful. So:

Early Spitfire (short nosed and before the clipped or pointy wings and tail).

Mosquito.

P-51D and Mosquito here.

I'll add Catalina as best looking flying boat.

Looks are 100% subjective. So everybody will have a different view.

The Spitfire will always be up there in the looks department. And I have always liked the more pugnacious Griffon powered versions, such as the Mk XIV -

Bombers tend to be less aesthetic because they are bigger and slower. I always thought that the Heinkel He111 was quite a handsome aeroplane, even if it was a bit of sitting duck against decent opposition -
