Spraying a whole car raw aluminium effect?

Hi guys, I have this kit car, similar to a 1958 Porsche RSK. Only just got it, but fancy painting it a raw aluminium effect as per the real ones. it does not have to be concours, want a rugged used patina kind of look?
Can anyone on here with spraying knowledge point me in the right direction? I have spray equipment.
I was thinking an aluminium silver colour with a matte/satin laquer? Any advice greatly appreciated!!
