I prefer the white but whichever doesn't have the K-series is the one I would go for. Both look great!

I’m a sucker for yellow and green 7s- with Ford engines. But I’m biased.

But you recommended that I get a K-series. smile
And I've had it for 14 years now!

What makes you say that?

There's probably a bit more to it than the colour!

The Supersrpint is a live axle, but the newer one will I presume be dedion for example.

Probably need to look at the rest of the specs to make more sense of it.

Yes, my one experience of a K engined car is one which didn't even make the journey home after purchase before seizing, despite plenty of evidence from the seller of an MLS upgrade, amongst other parts.

However in this particular instance I think a non K series will give the OP more peace of mind. If OP is fully aware of *POSSIBLE* liner issues etc etc etc, then it may be a solid buy - but that question wasn't asked.

Hence, my preference would be for a non-K engined car.

Was that K in a Caterham?

I prefer the K series than the Ford Sigma but would have either if the spec and price looked right. Had a Duretec which was fun, but still preferred my first Superlight.
I personally wouldn’t have the classic green and yellow colours, although many prefer that classic look.

I can't imagine going for a modified crossflow on carbs over a K-seires in the name of reliability! wobble

One of them is from Sevens & Classics. You cannot go wrong buying from these guys. They are all Ex Caterham and know their 7's inside out.

I have had both a 1700 Super Sprint (for 25 years) and now a K series R300 (10 years). I would never go back to the crossflow. The K suits the 7 much better and parts for the Ford Crossflow are going up and up in price. However, you should drive both and then decide. The difference between live axle and De Dion is also worth looking at seriously and what gear box both have. Having 5 speed is beneficial. I had the 4 speed on the crossflow and cruising gets to you, as once you go over 3500 rpm, it drinks petrol. The K is more fuel efficient, but you don't buy a 7 for max MPG.

The dark green X flow looks like the late Michael "Stridey" Stride's car.
If so, it's a great car that's been well maintained, by The 7 Workshop I think.
Recently had a new gearbox.

The green car has a £700+ Raceco Titanium Exhaust on it which is very nice but beware that it will not have a catalyst converter within it so you may need either the original exhaust which does have a cat in it or a 'friendly' MOT garage. It may not pass the emission test (if the age of the car requires it) just with the Raceco.

Thanks to everyone I will try to have a look both as I like white one but not sure is the dealer good, it is called Graham Walker Ltd but the yellow is from a caterham specialist? Is there anyone deal with Graham Walker Ltd on Chester before? Coz they only provide 3 months warranty.

By the way, the reason behind for me to get a car like this because I love cars with passion and at the same time, I am working for the nhs so the only time I am really enjoying myself is the time when I am driving to work and want to get somthings positive for myself during this time smile
