Price guide for a 2010 997.2 turbo
Discussion
Out of interest guys what do you think I should pay for the following if buying. Hard to say in current climate I understand and where do you see prices on that in 6-12 months from now
2010 997.2 turbo. 24k pdk
Has ceramic brakes
Psm , pasm ,
Sports chrono etc.
Will need a few k spent on a service, tyres and a couple other bits

Prices for these seem to vary a lot. Perhaps some prices reflect the virus crisis, and others are still at their old level. However I suspect some sellers are optimistic and there are cars which haven't moved much in ages. I'd say £65k to £70k would be typical asking price, but who knows what actual bids you'd get right now. Another issue is that 991 Turbos are creeping into this price bracket - example being one at Targa Florio near me, 2014 car with 27k miles for £70k.
I assume we taking about a non S ?
Charles Hurst had a white car up for sale for some months, 2012, with 24k mikes, the price was £64,999, it dropped of their website around February.
This was at a prestigious car dealer, pre-covid and a 2012 year car - so for a private sale of a 2010 car, I'd assume much less ???

Not sure about prices in the new world we are moving into.
The problem with the 997.2 Turbo was the ‘S’ - it added all the desirable options - PDK, pccbs, and all the other acronyms, and a bit more power for less than the total cost.
But, I drove an ‘S’ at the time, and despite the huge performance and capabilities, I actually found it a bit dull.
Personally I think the NA cars are a better drive, sound nicer and prefer the linear power delivery.
However, I did think that the 997.2 Turbo ‘Manual’ (not available on the S) would actually be the better car and counter some of my disappointments, by adding a bit more driver involvement.
Have you tried the two? I presume the manuals are quite rare.
The other thing; at that level, I would want the Extended Porsche Warranty for reassurance.

£70k ish
£60k more like.(It had steel brakes, however ceramic brakes of this age don't add value ?)
If being logical (perhaps brutal)
2 years newer -£5k
Retail versus private - £5k
Precovid versus post covid - £5k (10%)
£15k gap between a 2010 private sale post covid versus 2012 pre covid sale sounds like a huge spread, but perhaps not a £10k difference, that puts it at mid £50s.
I know the Charles Hurst car took some time to sell, so it might be an outlier.

I was going off a car I saw for sale and was thinking about, same sort of spec was up at £63k and was pretty mint. AND also sold.
age = no difference in price now on these models they did not make them for long, price is more miles driven.
retail vs private is not 5k on old stuff maybe half that at £2.5k
pre covid vs post, does it effect anything yet ! atm we are seeing 6% drop on some stuff. but are these sorts of cars effected atm.
maybe a £2.5k drop to help move them a bit.
thing is this for a daily at the same sort of price this is hard to pass by.

VERY hard to value cars ATM

yep one of the better covid deals atm imo.My car is 2014 and just through 30k miles now and the interior is nearly as fresh as imagine the day the first of the 4 owners picked it up. It's not perfect and took some finding - and Oh I overpaid for the privilege of the interior condition and spec as well - LOL.

That’s it. I done quite a bit of homework on it when it was previously up but then covid took over. It’s already at basically 44k with all fees added in then needs a few k spent on it. Anything over 47k and I ‘think’ I’m out
Did you get it ?Looks like top bid (with fees was within your estimate)
