E-Bay - Cerbera dealer parts catalogue/manual
Discussion
Just a quick note. listed on ebay is the cerbera dealer parts catalogue/manual. Text states copy of the manual. What isn't mentioned is its a photo copy, and not an orginal manual. I have copies of parts/service manuals, but never been fobbed of with a photo copy, just as i would get a copy of a book from WH Smiths. If you want a photo copy then fine. This description is misleading to say the least and after paying the best part of 50 quid for a photo copy i'm not impressed. might take this up with E-bay. Just wanted to make sure that no one else gets spannered.
I saw that, and thought about bidding, but thought it was getting a bit much when it reached £35, especially when it described it as a copy. After a while, you get a bit suspicious of some of the stuff on eBay.
Is the content what you were expecting? I think listing showed exploded views, along with part numbers. Could be invaluable for repairs. if you want to recoup some of your hard-earned, I'm sure you could run copies off for fellow PH'ers. I'd buy a copy. You never know, you could end up with a free one.

good plan, like it alot!! if i'm suffiently bored next week (time off) i might scan it in and make a PDF document. put it on disc and charge a princely sum for copies. will put a thread when done, and won't be an arse with the cost. yea seems to cover all the bits where they go and part numbers etc. not a bad thing to have, just a bit pricey for a 5 quid copy!!
Don't spend your money on this. This monkey has just copied a CD that has been doing the rounds on the TVR site for a couple of years.
Unfortunately its likely to be a fellow PH'er trying to make a buck on something that they themselves have been given free. I guarantee its not any sort of original because their is no original to exist.
Most of the RO's have this information as a CD and you'd have to do little more than turn up at a meeting and request it.
If you buy it off ebay you'll just be encouraging him. Some people have the morals of a eggplant.

hope your not refering to me as the monkey. And yes i agree that anyone else buying a copy from the e-bay site would be encouraging them. i am happy to copy this and give it out for 'cost to me' price. (ie, cost of disc and postage etc). I wasn't aware that the copy i got was not an original, and had i known i wouldn't have paid for it. The item has been re-listed again, with exactly the same wording, picture etc. i wonder how many copies they have made?

Nope , the monkey is the guy on ebay trying to make a profit on the back of something he got for free.
He's turning the spread of information to Cerb owners to help keep their cars on the road into copyright theft to turn a profit. Always one person like this in a bunch.
I have already reported him to ebay if it'll do any good.
