Upload to youtube from Hero 3

Hiya

Anyone have any tips for uploading footage shot on a gopro hero 3 set at 1080.

When viewed on youtube its pixelated and jumpy.

I know nothing about bitrates etc so can someone explain how to get the best from my footage in terms suitable for a total fud ?

In settings on Youtube are you watching in 1080? It sometimes defaults to a lower res.

I regularly upload stuff in 1080 (often from GoPro) and it looks fine. Yours should look similar >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCbHziHvpRs&fe...

It won't allow setting higher than 480 !

As long as you uploaded in 1080 it will be fine.
YouTube takes a while to process the high res versions, so it sticks up a low res version first.
As you can imagine YouTube servers are busier than ever, so it may take longer.

Just checked an upload from 3 months ago and you are correct. I'll just wait till 1080 is available for the video.
