Urgh, that reminds me of another one:The film on plastic trays you get food in (meat, ready meals, falafel etc). They all have a tab. The tab always rips off..

s off though is Toasters. Why do they not make them large enough to take a full size slice of bread. EVERY SINGLE ONE you have to either cut it in half and toast half at a time OR turn over half way through, giving you a more done centre stripe. I'd rather pay an extra fiver/tenner for the larger slot and element than to put up with this crap.... surely everyone's in the same boat here.

Just stab the top with a knife point, or a carving fork or similar pointy thing to release the vacuum. The top will then unscrew quite easily.
Warning! A kevlar vest, heavy duty gauntlets and shatterproof goggles and full face visor should be worn before attempting this. And ensure onlookers are kept at a safe distance. You don't want to catch coronavirus. Or them slipping in all the blood and beetroot juice.

The people who used to work at the factory where they were made miss those Tetrapak cartons as well. They were all made redundant when the factory closed, was subsequently demolished, and eventually became a large brand new branch of Sainsbury's and a residential development of apartment flats.
A fold-out corner that could be snipped off with a pair of scissors or a sharp knife was so muck easie... OUCH!!!
Hang on, I'll just go and find a plaster for my finger...
