Bought this Clio Sport in May 2018 after hearing all the usual good things about them over the years.

Slowly upgraded it with a few choice mods over time and done some track days.

Long term plans include more trackdays and possibly some suspension freshening up on the bushes and maybe some proper coilovers.

Spec is as follows:

Renault Clio 172 Cup on around 97K miles, I bought the car on about 83K IIRC.

Engine:
Ram Air induction kit with polished elbow tucked behind headlight
Centre silencer cut out and replaced with normal exhaust pipe for a little more noise but still maintaining entry to tracks etc
Cambelt and Dephaser replaced along with water pump new coil pack plugs leads etc

Gearbox:
Polybush Dogbone gearbox mount
Modified/Extended Scenic shifter with nylon? gearknob

Suspension:
Brand new Renault genuine Cup dampers with brand new Genuine Renault top mounts
Grams Racing lowering springs

Brakes:
Feredo DS2500 front pads
Brembo HC front discs
Mintex rear pads
Mintex rear discs
ATE Racing Typ 200 brake fluid
Will also looking into upgrading the flexis shortly too

Wheels
Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2 with Federal RSR tyres on the front and Uniroyal Rainsport 3 on the rear
Will probably upgrade to AD08 all round or something similar pending recommendations and research

Interior:
Sparco 330MM Flat Wheel
Nylon gearknob fitted to modified/extended Scenic shifter
Corbeau Clubsport bucket with Sparco subframe
Would love a Recaro Pole Positon money Pending

Another Clio owner here.
How do you find the scenic shiftier? Worthwhile doing?
I like the standard shift, I just want something a bit higher up and further back.

yeah that's pretty much the reasons why I fitted one. Definitely worth fitting and is cheaper than say PMS etc

That looks absolutely perfect on the darker wheels, sits so nicely. I'd absolutely love to have a fast little Renault like this.
