Brake caliper clearcoat degradation

I have lovely black DBS logoed brake calipers whose top clearcoat has gone cloudy. Is this a common problem and what's the fix?

I had this, and the clear coat started peeling, took a full caliper refurb to sort it.

I had the same issue on my dbs, just sanded off the peeling clear coat and applied some high temp brake caliper clear coat. Masked everything off on the caliper so did not rebuild. Over a year ago now and holding up great.
