All the questions at the moment!

I've just had my iPad Air and Apple Pencil delivered. I'm going to be using it to take notes in meeting and for annotating PDFs etc. There are a number of apps but it seems OneNote and Notability seem to get the best reviews? Does anybody have any real world recommendations for a note taking app?

Thanks

Isn't there a built in Notes app that will seamlessly synchronise with your other Apple devices and iCloud?

There is but I don’t think you can annotate PDFs on it and import images etc?

I love OneNote. I use it on my work laptop and regularly "print" documents to it when I go to meetings so I can annotate them as we go on my iPad. I use it with office lens to take photos and embed then into OneNote. I fine or easy to use and have had no issues with my laptop, iPad or Android phone.

I use notability, mostly for marking up. I have also tried Goodnotes but because I was used to notability didn't really get on with it.

It is meant to be good but no use if you aren't completely in the Apple ecosystem as there is no support for Android or even Windows. The OP will need to be aware of this.

I use Goodnotes, I really like it for annotating pdfs and stuff, it works better than OneNote for this in my opinion- but it's difficult to then get them back into Windows world for working on.
