Another guess the car thread.

I have stolen this picture from another thread and wondered if anybody on here might know what this car is. The reg plate brings up nothing on the DVLA website however it is a C registration from the first time round. It looks to me like the whole roof panel lift up a bit like a nova kitcar Or maybe gullwing type doors but perhaps somebody else is more knowledgeable
