Just spotted these are going to be released soon. I rode a few of the original CT110 'postie bikes' in Australia and they are lots of fun. Would be great for the commute I think!

Looks like an old Trail 90

Just a shame so many will end up getting pinched and used to rob old ladies on the high street.

Looks fab! I sometimes wonder about getting a little 125 to zip around on locally, was quite tempted by a Grom at one point, but then after the novelty wears off not sure I'd really use it enough.

Friend of mine did exactly that. Few weekends of messing about and then it never got used!

Some details here:

https://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesocial/news-and-vie...

Found after noticing it seems to be missing a clutch lever...4 speed clutchless apparently?!

Looks like a giggle though.

I've liked the look of these since the first concept was shown, along with the Grom (MSX125), Monkey Bike & Super Cub 125, but also always been concerned that with a proper bike in the garage they just wouldn't get used.

Maybe if I lived in the US with its miles of fire tracks this would be perfect.

One day when I have a spare £1500 (and they have suitably depreciated) I will end up with one of the mini 125s regardless.

I’ve got the new Monkey 125 in the garage, as well as some big bikes, believe me it gets used. That whole family of bikes are great little things and my Monkey has become the go to bike for the daily commute. They put out about 8hp as standard but there is a whole host of performance parts out there if you fancy going faster, a 181cc kit with some other bits will get you 22+hp.

Took a fancy to one as soon as I saw it. Sort of the right thing for a post pandemic waste land!

Absolutely, the only difference is the clutch system. Look up Bens Pit Bikes, a store in south London that does all the kits also loads available from Thailand and the US. The only thing you will have to watch is your wallet, just purchased a full race Yoshimura exhaust for mine sounds fantastic.

I like small bikes and, in 2013, had a Grom for 3 years, as a commuter. Great fun, easy to store and about 130mpg and £16 VEL.
I replaced it with a Suzuki SV650S but it was a lot less handy and, at age 60, not comfortable to ride. Insurance was a smidge cheaper on the 650...

I concluded that the Grom needed the following, to achieve perfection:

1. A 250-300cc engine
2. A chain not made out of knicker elastic
3. Decent headlight ( mine was the older candle- lit model).
4. A centre stand like all bikes used to have.

This CT125 looks OK but Honda seem to be searching for a cheap, elusive volume seller, in a shrinking market.
